Born:
Chicago, Illinois April 5th 1955
Studied art at:
The American Academy of Art Chicago, Ill. Woodstock School of
Art Under the direction of Nicholas Buhalis
I worked from the model(s), live in my own studio. That way I
was able to harness the feeling of his or her raw human emotion
fresh in my interpretation. When I paint my personal discovery
all aspects of my experience is extended on to the canvas. I paint
the essence and spirit of the human figure, entangled with my
abstracted backgrounds to produce linear extensions into and out
of the figures, creating an intimate and intricate relationship
between the human body and itÕs discrete artistic environment.
I have showed from New York City to Los Angeles to Washington,
D.C. to having my work in Private Collections throughout Holland,
Austria, Germany, and the United States.
