Kevin Barrett
Kevin Barrett has published poetry in English and French in several
venues, including Weirdo (San Francisco), DŽlire
(San Francisco), Libido (Chicago), the Journal of New
Jersey Poets (Rutgers University). He is also the author (under
the pen name "Dr. Eldritch Weirde") of a book entitled
Dr. Weirde's Weirde Tours: A Guide to Mysterious San Francisco

published by Last Gasp of San Francisco. He is currently
writing a dissertation on Sufism and storytelling in Morocco in
the University of Wisconsin-Madison's African Languages and Literature
Department.
Kevin has lived in Paris, Morocco, and Seattle, but mostly San Francisco
and Madison. He has taught English and French at San Francisco State
University, and Humanities at Contra Costa College in the Bay Area.
He has directed several short films, written one, and appeared in others,
including Peggy Ahwesh's critically acclaimed The Dead Man
and Yves Boisset's cinematic hoax Le Paris d'Amerique.
