From a review in Morgunbladid the largest newspaper in Iceland 1996

Modern artists that work with two dimensional surface and colors, that are the classic medium of the art of painting, often force themselves into the very core of it. That is the bodies and flesh of the medium, the material itself that is painted upon and the colors they hold in their hands. They often do this in order to find the pureness of art and to work in monotonic hues, yet at the same time they empathize on the texture of the medium, the material itself, they often tear into the foundation to follow-up so the texture becomes a part of the whole picture. In addition, the color itself becomes one with the texture with its exquisite nuances, often with some emphasis, materials and foreign bodies, or by different kinds of wave movements.

There is something original in Margret’s paintings but the local of the exhibition didn’t compliment her work, they need a pleasant environment.
